Rogue Trader Robots, Zombies, WWI Officers, Bretonian Crew, Monsters, Little Girl, Philistines, Etruscans, Cyborg, Clockwork Robot, Terrain, and a Shoggoth in a Pear Tree

Hello,

The stupid Fallout 4 video game has slowed my blogging, but I have managed to get a number of models completed.   Due to poor weather, I've been painting what was laying around primed.  It's too wet to spray paint outside.

Of this post's 37 models (getting my total up to 502 for the year!), the first are five old Rogue Trader robots.  Yes, they are a boring red paintjob and not very Rogue Tradery.

The guy on the far right isn't really Rogue Trader, but a repurposed MechWarrior clicky base thing.  I'll be making more of these in the future.  I'll need to figure out a backpack gun thing for it.

Here are five Old Glory late WWI British officers.

I didn't need anymore, but they were primed.

Here are a couple Biblical era chaps.  I have no idea who made the big guy.

The little guy is a Ral Partha/Ironwinds Metal miniature.

Here are five Victory Force zombies.  The guy in the middle looks a bit like Donald Trump.

The guy on the left was a Pittsburgh Steelers fan.

Here's a cyborg (made out of a Battletech bottom and a Bloodbowl ripoff model) and a clockwork robot, from Reaper.

I only rebased this flying thing, the sweat shop factory paint job was good enough.  It might make a good sci-fi 28mm scale drone.

Here are six terribly painted Ral Partha Etruscan skirmishers.

It's nice that we have so many new plastic options in today's Golden Age of Miniatures.  Row upon row of the same exact pose seems very dull, in comparison.

Here is Mansions of Madness Mi-go, Doom board game cherub, and Wargames Factory survivor girl.

I used craft store Liquitex Iridescent acrylic medium to try and make the wings shiny, like a bugs.

Here's a weird skull thing and a dead Games Workshop goblin, squished by a metal ball.  The skull thing might be a coffin lid or perhaps a door I wouldn't open.

Here is a GW Bretonian trebuchet crew; I still need to find and paint my trebuchet.

Trebuchet duty must have been less than desirable.  These guys are ugly dirty wretches.  The one on the far right even appears leprous or to be suffering from a severe pox.

Here is a Reaper Shoggoth.

I "finished" or at least quit working on this terrain piece for Darkest Africa or other colonial games.

If the game calls for pointlessly high walls and poorly painted double doors with no handles, then this piece is perfect!

The little building is removable and I plan to someday make little rubble walls to fill it's place.

I forgot to take pictures of the little terrain accessories I made.

Till next time, loved ones, when I may have a couple dogs, a priest, a half paper tank, and some random 40K stuff.

Love and Kisses,
Baconfat

French Fusiliers, Spanish Javelins, Oldhammer Guardsmen, Space Marines, Bretonians, and a Warg?

Happy Sunday,

I've managed to knock out another 38 miniatures!  I could finally break the 500 a year lead ceiling!  But then again the new Fallout video game can be downloaded Tuesday night, so I'll likely fail.

Here are 12 plastic Perry French.  I must have bought five boxes and may only have 60 left to paint.

Here they are gazing intently at a wall.
Their hats are shiny because the paint is still wet.
Here they are marching through some terrain, I'm making.

Here are ten of eleven Spanish javelin men from Battle Honors.  Actually the guy holding his shield may be a Byzantine javelin guy that snuck in the painting cue.

The eleventh guy is camera shy.

GW recently changed the name of the Imperial Guard to something stupid like Assless Militia.   Here is a stupid blurry picture of seven ancient formerly named Imperial Guardsmen.  I have no clue how many of these guys I've painted, but it's many hundreds.

Here they are looking away from you.

Here are two much more modern Astra Listerin radio troops.

The Asshole Minutemen radios are called Vox and get bigger every generation of new models.

Here's two more space marines in my goal to paint all the chapters.  The previous owner was kind enough to spray them green for me.  They are Salamanders and Invaders.  I can't paint stars very well at all.

Here's what might be a warg and an old Grenadier model with a halberd.

I think the wolf warg thing is one of the old TSR Chainmail models, from back when they were unpainted metal.

Lastly a few Bretonians, the one on the left made an appearance two weeks ago.  I've since noticed he didn't have a shield.  The shields are spares from the nice Fireforge Sergeants box.

The poor guy in the middle has no weapons.

Till next time, when I have no idea what will be painted.

love and kisses,

Sarmatian Heavy Cavalry, Rohir, and Brettonians

Hello,

I managed to finish a few more models.  First up are ten metal Warlord Sarmation heavy cavalry.

They might be good proxy models for LotR games as Rohan Royal Guard.

Speaking of Rohan, I finished a couple more riders.

They're back and forth by three of those silly Uruk Hai bomb things.
I also painted a few random old GW Brettonian models.

The guy on the far right has a rather high-tech crossbow.

Till next time, when I hope to have some French fusiliers, Oldhammer Imperial Guard, terrain, and more complete.

Love and Kisses,

Perrry Burgundians, Reaper Tool Bots, Riot Police, 40K Servitors, Oldhammer Spearmen, Brettonian Crewman, and a few Plants.

Hello,

I have managed finish another 30 minis and really hope to break the 500 mark this year.  First are some plastic Perry Mercenaries crossbow men.

Here are five Heroclix police officers.  I liked the original sweat shop painter's color scheme and tried hard to match the original colors.

Here's some long out of production metal Citadel fantasy minis.  The Empire spearmen have Fireforge shields.  I'm pretty sure the shirtless guy was a Brettonian crew man.

Here are six of the stupidest models I've ever painted.   GW's undead servitors cyborg slaves are extremely cartoony models.
I don't know how they have the strength in their putrid bodies to raise those giant robot lobster claws.
Regardless of my disdain, I've managed to collect 17 of the ugly things.  I think they can fix tanks in 40K games or deliver a rather nasty pinch.
Here's five of Reaper's diminutive "tool bots".  They took about ten minutes to paint.

Lastly, a small gathering of useless terrain.   Maybe it could be used for that new game Frostgrave.  The plant things are little bits of terrarium plants, that my cat Cthulhu stole from our tarantula cave.

Till next time, when I'll have some Rohan riders that forgot to make it to today's scheduled photo shoot.  There'll be more Brettonians, maybe Sarmation cavalry, a tank?, and a Napoleonic French guest appearance.

Love and Kisses,
